The final workshop will be arranged in conjunction with the 6th ESEH meeting in Turku, Finland. Network participants will lead a roundtable session titled The Future of Nordic Environmental History.
Immediately following the ESEH conference, we will have a 1-day network workshop discussing funding strategies for environmental history. We will discuss various funding sources (national programs, Nordic-wide funding, and international programs, such as EUROCORE and FP7 calls), as well as trans-Atlantic projects with American and Canadian colleagues.
The workshop will feature:
– Discussion of precirculated funding proposals and research ideas
– Brainstorming session for other potential collaborate projects
The network will fund travel and lodging expenses for 20 network participants, thus ensuring a solid Nordic presence at the conference, and expenses related to the workshop.
